Just looking at the 2015 drawing, it hurts my eyes ... 
I remember that I had drawn it directly on Paint Tool Sai.
While on 2017 (and before like 2016) drawing, I drew it on paper and then I scanned it, outlined it and color it on Paint Tool Sai.
I think I'm more comfortable drawing on paper than on digital.

But I can see it, you've defiantly gotten better!
Also, I have to agree, it's easier trying to draw on paper and than fix it up in SAI. To me, I feel like I have better control.
